TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking an appointment, enrolling in a program, purchasing a digital product, attending a workshop or accessing any service provided by My Peaceful Mind, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Provided
My Peaceful Mind provides services including but not limited to:
Psychology services
Clinical hypnotherapy
EMDR services
RTT services
Coaching and educational programs
Self-guided digital courses
Group programs and workshops
Telehealth services
Audio recordings and digital resources
Services may be delivered in person, online, by telehealth or through digital platforms.
3. Educational Information and General Disclaimer
Information, educational resources, digital programs and workshops provided by My Peaceful Mind are intended for educational, wellbeing and personal development purposes only unless explicitly provided as part of an individual clinical treatment relationship.
Participation in a program or course does not establish a psychologist-client relationship unless individual treatment services have separately commenced.
Digital programs, workshops and educational materials are not a substitute for:
individual psychological treatment;
medical treatment;
psychiatric care;
emergency mental health support; or
crisis intervention services.
Results vary significantly between individuals and no guarantee of outcomes or results can be provided.
4. Individual Clinical Services
Where clients engage in psychology, hypnotherapy, EMDR or other clinical services:
treatment recommendations are based upon information available at the time;
clients remain responsible for decisions made regarding their healthcare;
participation in treatment is voluntary;
treatment may be discontinued by either party where clinically appropriate.
Clients agree to provide accurate information regarding medical history, medications, risk concerns and relevant diagnoses.
5. Emergency and Crisis Services
My Peaceful Mind does not provide emergency services or crisis support.
If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency you should immediately contact:

or other appropriate emergency services.
Communication through email, websites, portals, messaging systems or program platforms should never be relied upon for urgent or emergency matters.
6. Telehealth Services
Clients acknowledge that telehealth services involve the use of internet and communication technologies which carry inherent risks including technical failure, interruption or unauthorised access despite reasonable safeguards.
Clients accept these risks when participating in telehealth services.
7. Artificial Intelligence and Technology
My Peaceful Mind may utilise artificial intelligence, automation tools or software systems to assist with administration, educational content creation, resource development and service delivery support.
Artificial intelligence systems do not replace professional clinical judgement.
Clinical decisions and treatment recommendations remain the responsibility of appropriately qualified professionals.
Technology failures, software errors and interruptions may occasionally occur and My Peaceful Mind accepts no liability for losses arising from circumstances outside reasonable control.
8. Privacy and Confidentiality
My Peaceful Mind collects, stores and manages personal and health information in accordance with:
the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth);
the Australian Privacy Principles;
relevant health records legislation; and
professional registration requirements.
Information may be disclosed where required by law, including situations involving:
risk of harm to self;
risk of harm to others;
child protection concerns;
court orders;
mandatory reporting obligations.

9. Fees and Payments
Payment is due at the time of booking unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.
Outstanding accounts may result in suspension of services until payment has been received.
Clients are responsible for all fees associated with services received.
10. Cancellation Policy
Individual appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may incur the full appointment fee.
Non-attendance without notice may incur the full appointment fee.
Exceptions may be considered in circumstances involving illness, emergencies or exceptional situations at the discretion of My Peaceful Mind.
11. Refund Policy
Clinical Services
Psychology, hypnotherapy and other clinical appointments are generally non-refundable once the service has been provided.
Prepaid appointments cancelled in accordance with the cancellation policy may be refunded or credited at our discretion.
Digital Programs and Courses
Self-guided digital products, downloadable resources and online programs are generally non-refundable once access has been granted due to the immediate delivery of intellectual property and digital content.
Where a cooling-off period is offered, details will be clearly stated on the relevant product page.
Guided Programs and Coaching Services
Refund eligibility for guided programs, workshops and coaching services will be determined according to the specific refund policy provided at purchase.
Nothing in this policy excludes rights provided under Australian Consumer Law.
12. Suitability for Programs
Participants are responsible for determining whether a program is appropriate for their circumstances.
Individuals experiencing severe mental health symptoms, active suicidality, psychosis, significant substance dependence or acute psychiatric instability should seek individual clinical care before participating in self-guided programs.
My Peaceful Mind reserves the right to decline participation where a program is considered unsuitable or unsafe.
13. Hypnosis and Altered States
Hypnosis is a collaborative process and outcomes vary between individuals.
Participants remain aware, in control and able to terminate participation at any time.
Clients with a history of seizures, epilepsy, significant neurological conditions or severe psychiatric conditions should seek medical clearance where appropriate prior to participating in hypnosis services.
14. Intellectual Property
All materials, recordings, videos, workbooks, handouts, scripts and digital resources remain the intellectual property of My Peaceful Mind unless otherwise stated.
Materials may not be:
reproduced;
distributed;
copied;
shared;
resold; or
commercially exploited
without prior written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Peaceful Mind excludes liability for indirect, consequential or incidental loss arising from the use of services, programs or resources.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
16. Changes to Services
My Peaceful Mind reserves the right to modify, update or discontinue services, programs, pricing or resources at any time.
Reasonable notice will be provided where practical.
17. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Information, programs, resources and educational materials provided by My Peaceful Mind are intended for educational, informational and wellbeing purposes only and are not a substitute for individual medical, psychological or psychiatric care unless expressly provided as part of an established therapeutic relationship.
My Peaceful Mind does not provide crisis support or emergency services.
